Resources

The resources section of this site hosts technical case studies that address particularly topical design challenges.
The technical papers have been prepared in association with subject experts and specialist vendors bringing innovative products and services to market.

If you would like to discuss any of these white papers or studies or if you have an interest in commissioning similar work please contact geoff@rttonline.comNujira logo

There are two new 2012 White Papers available, both sponsored by Nujira and based on a range of operator and vendor interviews.

Improving the Consumer Experience in LTE quantifies the potential opportunities for realising additional customer value by improving the RF efficiency and linearity of RF power amplifiers in user equipment.

The White Paper, 8 pages as a PDF, is available for download and can be ordered by completing the form below.

Research study partners include IWPC and the National Microelectronics Institute.
The market, business and economic modelling in the study has been done in association with The Mobile World with technical and commercial inputs from over thirty vendors including RF component suppliers, RF IC and base band vendors, infrastructure vendors and the operator and user community.

If you would like to discuss the study outputs or if you have an interest in commissioning similar study work please contact geoff@rttonline.com.

The study, approx 70 pages as a PDF, is available for download and can be ordered by completing the form below.

LTE User equipment, network efficiency and value

This study analyses the impact of LTE user equipment performance on user value and operator EBITDA and the related fiscal benefits that accrue to LTE infrastructure hardware and software vendors, LTE user equipment developers and manufacturers and their supply chain including component vendors and algorithmic design teams.
The study validates that a move to LTE can deliver sufficient radio access network efficiency gain and incremental user value to sustain present and future spectral and network investment delivering a net gain to the whole industry supply chain. Users benefit too!
